Drivers on Interstate 90 near mile marker 31 in Erie County should prepare for nighttime travel delays as work continues on the Jordan Road Bridge in Harborcreek Township.

From Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25, weather permitting, both directions of I-90 will be subject to lane restrictions and rolling closures between the hours of 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

PennDOT says the temporary closures are necessary to safely set bridge beams into place for the ongoing Jordan Road Bridge Project.

The new bridge is scheduled to open later this year. Drivers are urged to use caution and plan ahead during the overnight work period.
