Jamestown Police Arrest Homicide Suspect Wanted Out of Puerto Rico

A 26-year-old man wanted for homicide in Puerto Rico was arrested Wednesday morning at a residence on Jamestown’s east side.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s first platoon received information about the suspect's location and responded to the residence at 11:24 a.m. Bryan J. Rivera-Montanez answered the door and was taken into custody without incident.
Rivera-Montanez was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and charged as a Fugitive from Justice. He is being held on a homicide warrant from Puerto Rico and is awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
Authorities say the arrest was made peacefully and without complications.
