Warren, PA - Family Services of Warren County is preparing to host its second annual Heart Art Therapy Gala this Friday, July 18th, at the Conewango Club in Warren.

The event will take place from 6:00PM to 9:00PM, but organizers say tickets for the in-person gala are already sold out.

However, the public can still take part in the fundraiser through the event’s online silent auction, which remains open.

The auction features dozens of one-of-a-kind art pieces donated by local and national artists, along with private collectors.

Items range in style and medium and are available for bidding online.

Proceeds from the event will support Warren County Family Services’ art therapy programs. These programs use creative expression as part of mental health treatment for children, teens, and adults across Warren County.

“Last year's event was a big success, it was the first time that we have ever done anything like that," explained Kristine Peterson, Clinical Art Therapist. "But thanks to those donations we were able to hire a second licensed art therapist who remains on our staff."

"This growth is really very exciting and important," added Nichole Neukum, Executive Director of Warren County Family Services. "We really want to expand our reach in the community and are excited to announce big news for the organization - we will be holding an open house very soon at our new location on Market Street in Warren next month. We are very excited and will have more information released very soon about that."
