Bemus Point Summer Fest Returns August 2–3 with Food, Music, and Activities

A summer tradition full of lakeside charm returns to Chautauqua Lake the weekend of August 2 and 3, as Bemus Point Summer Fest fills the village with food, music, games, and community spirit.
The two-day event features a wide range of family-friendly activities, including a village wide treasure hunt, the 7th Annual Barbecue in Bemus EggFest, and live music throughout the weekend at Lakeside Park, also known as Bemus Point Village Park.
Visitors of all ages can take part in the Bemus Point Treasure Hunt, exploring local businesses while collecting stickers for a chance to win a Bemus Basket full of local prizes. Treasure maps are available at participating businesses.
The culinary highlight of the weekend is Barbecue in Bemus: EggFest, happening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bemus Point Golf Club & Tap House. The event features local chefs grilling on Big Green Egg cookers, live music by OsbornNash, drinks, goodie bags, and a raffle. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and include one raffle entry.
On Saturday evening and throughout Sunday, Lakeside Park will host even more festivities presented by The Village Casino, known for last year’s record-breaking Wing Fest.
This year’s park schedule includes:
•Saturday, 4 to 9 p.m.: Live music from UnParallel Band
•Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Chicken wings, face painting by Tina (Sunday only), a beer tent supporting the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department, and performances by Goldirocks (12 to 3 p.m.) and Honky Tonk Heroes (3 to 6 p.m.)
The festival is organized by the Bemus Point Business Association, a volunteer group dedicated to making the village a premier regional destination.
