A long-term narcotics investigation resulted in the seizure of cocaine, weapons, and other illegal substances following a search warrant execution at 1842 Hanson Road in the Town of Gerry on Wednesday, July 23.

The search, carried out at 4:10 p.m., involved investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, the Jamestown Police Department, and the Dunkirk Police Department, with entry made by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office SWAT team.

Authorities report that Chaze A. Johnson, 32, of Gerry, was located inside the residence at the time of the operation. Investigators seized the following items:

   •1.3 kilograms of cocaine

   •7.6 pounds of cannabis

   •10.9 grams of MDMA

   •Drug packaging materials and digital scales

   •Three loaded semi-automatic pistols

   •Two high-capacity pistol magazines

   •.22 caliber rifle

   •$11,278 in U.S. currency

Johnson faces multiple charges, including:

   •Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st and 5th degrees

   •Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree

   •Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree

   •Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree

   •He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
