One of the most beloved musicals of all time returns to the Erie Playhouse stage this summer, as CATS runs from July 25 through August 10, with a special discounted Premiere Weekend kicking off the show.

Sponsored by LECOM Health and UPMC Health Plan, CATS brings the magical, musical world of feline mischief, mystery, and memory to local audiences of all ages. The production features a celebrated score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and includes local legends Trisha Yates and John Burton reprising their iconic roles as Grizabella and Old Deuteronomy.

On Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26, general admission seating is just $18, a $10 savings off regular ticket prices. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can enjoy live music outside the theatre with Jason Lawergren performing Friday and Shani Bills on Saturday. Alsie’s Ice Cream Truck will also be on site.

Inside the theatre, the lobby bar will serve a themed cocktail, the Rum Tum Tumbler, made with Altered State Distillery’s Mystic Fox Rum. Altered State will also offer special tastings. Opening night wraps with a post-show celebration at Five Iron Golf, located next door.
