Warren, PA – A national drum and bugle corps competition is returning to War Memorial Field in Warren for the second consecutive year.

Music on the Mountain, a Drum Corps International-sanctioned event, will take place on Saturday, July 26th. This marks the tenth overall show for the Warren-based event and the second year it’s being held at War Memorial Field.

Event organizer Art Lane says the milestone is a point of pride for the community.

“This is the tenth show that we have had, so it is a big milestone for us,” Lane said. “These shows are not easy to do, but Drum Corps International has really taken care of us. We are one of the largest stops on the East Coast—believe it or not—Warren, Pennsylvania. This is something that we are really proud of, so if you like anything to do with music, drums and brass - this is the show to come to.”

The competition will feature nine elite drum and bugle corps from across the country, showcasing precision marching, brass, and percussion performances.

Gates open at 4 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or preordered online.
