There was a big turnout for the Jarrid L. King Memorial ride on Saturday.

Organized by the Carl Neff Post 571 American Legion Riders, more than 100 bikers took part in the annual run.

It raises funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Jarrid King was killed in action in Afghanistan, his father, a Marine Corps veteran said the ride means the world to him.

Another family who suffered a loss in the same incident always comes to join the event, all in hopes of helping others out of their own loss.

King was only 20 years old when he was killed during Operation Enduring Freedom.

He suffered fatal wounds when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
