Community Blood Bank Launches Bloodstock Event to Boost Regional Blood Supply
The Community Blood Bank of NWPA & WNY will host its inaugural Bloodstock event on Friday, August 1, blending music, food, and community spirit with the mission of saving lives. The event runs from 10 AM to 8 PM at the Erie donation center, with the last blood donation accepted at 7 PM.
Bloodstock 2025 is designed to attract both returning and first-time blood donors while celebrating the life-saving impact of each donation. The Community Blood Bank is the exclusive blood provider for 16 area hospitals and seven Stat MedEvac bases across Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York, and it relies entirely on local volunteer donors to meet critical needs.
“We are incredibly excited to launch Bloodstock 2025,” said Megan Solensky, Community Relations Specialist. “This is a celebration of community and the powerful impact of giving. Every single donation collected at Bloodstock will make a powerful, direct difference for patients right here in our hospitals.”
Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere, including:
•Live local music
•Food trucks and refreshments
•Games and giveaways
•Community activities for all ages
