The National Comedy Center will host its seventh free Memory Café on Monday, August 4, offering a warm and welcoming experience for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other memory-related conditions and the loved ones who care for them.

Held on the first Monday of each month, the Memory Café provides a unique opportunity for caregivers and those they support to connect through laughter, shared memories, and engaging activities in a relaxed setting. This month’s event also coincides with Lucille Ball’s birthday week, adding a special hometown touch to the celebration.

Participants are invited to explore the museum beginning at 10 a.m., where they can revisit classic television moments and comedy icons like Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, Betty White, Johnny Carson, Richard Pryor, and more. The interactive exhibits spark joyful memories and conversation, encouraging connection through humor and nostalgia.

At 11 a.m., attendees will enjoy light refreshments and an engaging program, all designed to create meaningful moments for both individuals with memory loss and their care partners.

The Memory Café is free to attend, but space is limited and reservations are encouraged. To register or learn more, visit ComedyCenter.org/MemoryCafe or call 716-484-2222.
