Over two dozen Arts and Culture organizations received two hundred thousand dollars in grants to help with their services.

The Erie County of Gaming and Revenue Authority (ECGRA) distributed $268,000 to various organizations on Tuesday morning.

Recipients included the Erie Arts and Music Festival, the Erie Contemporary Ballet Theater, the Film Society of NWPA, WQLN of Public Broadcasting, and several other groups.

ECGRA leaders said making these investments in the community helps the future of development in Erie.

Dr. Perry Wood, the Executive Director of ECGRA also noted that by making these investments in the Erie community it draws more people to come, work, and establish roots in the area.
