Video of a rare discovery at Presque Isle State Park is getting some attention.

Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protect intern Ray Walter spotted and filmed a freshwater jellyfish at Presque Isle State Parks’s Marina Lake.

These tiny creatures, known as Craspedacusta sowerbyi, are rarely seen because they usually remain stuck to the bottom as polyps. But occasionally, they transform into the jellyfish shape most recognize — and Ray was lucky enough to catch one on camera.
