United Way's National Night Out 2025 Events Planned Across Erie
National Night Out, a community building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, returns on Tuesday, August 5. Across Erie and surrounding communities, residents will gather for block parties, cookouts, music, and fun, united by a common mission of strengthening community ties and promoting public safety.
Since 2004, United Way of Erie County has proudly supported local National Night Out (NNO) events. The annual observance is celebrated nationwide on the first Tuesday of August and is widely recognized as “America’s Night Out Against Crime.” In Erie County, events are scheduled in neighborhoods across the city and within a short drive, offering residents of all ages an opportunity to engage with local emergency personnel, civic groups, and each other.
