A car cruise-in in Lawrence Park helped raise money for a young boy recovering from a heart transplant.

Proceeds from car cruise-in and raffle went to Jonah Allegier and his family.

He received a new heart back on Easter Sunday in 2024 and has been recovering since.

He will require medical attention and care for the rest of his life.

Saturday's event raised money to help cover current and future medical costs.

His family says they are overwhelmed by the continued community support.

Organizers say they plan to continue to have more benefits for Jonah in the future to help with ongoing medical costs.
