Firefighters returned to a home on West Lake Road early Monday morning after flames rekindled at a residence that had already caught fire less than 24 hours earlier.

The original fire broke out early Sunday morning. All residents of the home were safely evacuated at that time. But by early Monday, a concerned neighbor called 911 after spotting smoke once again coming from the same structure.

When crews arrived on scene, visible smoke confirmed the report, prompting a full response. Multiple fire companies were dispatched to assist, bringing additional tankers to maintain a steady water supply.

The cause of both fires remains under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
