One of the region’s most anticipated summer events returns to the Bayfront as the Tall Ships Erie Festival sets sail August 21 through 24, bringing maritime magic, family fun, and historic vessels to Presque Isle Bay.

The festivities begin Thursday, August 21, with the Parade of Sail, a stunning procession of tall ships entering the harbor under full sail. Beginning at 4:00 PM, the fleet will pass Dobbins Landing and Erie's shoreline, offering a postcard worthy view and the official kickoff to the weekend.

For those seeking a truly unforgettable experience, Parade of Sail Passes are available for purchase, allowing guests to ride aboard one of the majestic ships. 

Now, for the Tall Ships Festival itself, it will run from Friday, August 22 through Sunday, August 24, festival grounds will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with entrances at Dobbins Landing and the Bayfront Convention Center.
