Pittsfield, PA — The 94th annual Warren County Fair got off to a strong start Monday, August 4th drawing large crowds to the fairgrounds for opening day events, including 4-H exhibits, rodeo action, and the Warren County Fair Queen contest.
Families packed the barns early in the day to see animals and agricultural displays. But as the sun set, attention turned to two of the fair’s main events.
In the arena, the Monday Night Chute-Out Rodeo featured fan-favorite competitions like mutton busting, roping, barrel racing, and bull riding. Riders from across the region competed in front of an energetic crowd.
“I've been coming here for around seven years," stated barrel race, Carol Brown. "It's a really nice hometown rodeo and it's always good to see the crowd here that supports it."
Over at the KeyBank Pavilion, contestants in the Warren County Fair Queen competition took the stage for public speaking and live presentations—many reflecting on what they’ve learned through the agricultural experience.
“This is really all about women supporting women and of course promoting agriculture which is what our fair is all about," said Jolynn Durlin, 2024 Warren County Fair Queen. "I'm really looking forward to this exciting week, even if it marks the end of my time as Fair Queen - it's been such an amazing experience."
Junior Miss Contestant, Alliesun Woodin said the experience has helped her grow personally and professionally.
“I’ve learned so much through my time competing and met so many people who have become like family to me. It's been a great opportunity for me to get out into the county," she said.
The 2025 Warren County Fair Court was announced Monday night, with Alexis Stec crowned Fair Queen. Kahlynne May earned First Runner-Up honors, Flora Billot was named Junior Miss, and Emmaline Root was crowned Princess.
The fair runs through Sunday, August 10th with a full lineup of daily events, including tractor pulls, animal shows, food vendors, and live music.
