Pittsfield, PA - Seniors, veterans, and active-duty service members were recognized at the Warren County Fair on Wednesday, August 6th with reduced admission and access to local support services.

Several local agencies were on-site to provide information and resources. Representatives from the Warren County Veterans Affairs office, Allegheny Valley Veterans Center, Experience Inc., and the Rouse offered support and materials to those in attendance.

“It's really nice for our veterans to be recognized like this,” said Mary Allen, Veterans Affairs Assistant. “We've had quite a few veterans visit us today - which was great, because it's our purpose and intention to make sure they know that we are here for them and want to help them get the benefits they deserve."

“We have seen a lot of people today, stopping by and checking out our tent," stated Any Stanbro, Care Manager with Experience Inc. "We have a lot of resources on display along with information about our programs, so it's been really nice to connect with people who can use our services."

The Warren County Fair continues through Sunday, August 10th with different themes and events scheduled each day.
