Logistics Plus Partners with Joe Moore Award to Deliver the Biggest Trophy in Sports
Erie-based Logistics Plus is teaming up with the Joe Moore Award to transport and deliver the largest trophy in American sports. Weighing in at over 800 pounds and standing more than seven feet tall, the Joe Moore Award trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding offensive line unit in college football, and it’s no small feat to move.
The partnership will see Logistics Plus oversee the complex logistics of delivering the massive trophy to its 2025 winner, with original content documenting its journey along the way.
“We're passionate about teamwork, grit, and delivering results. Those are values that align perfectly with what the Joe Moore Award stands for,” said Jim Berlin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “Some of these young men may be relatively unknown, and many people may not have heard of Logistics Plus. But the best always know the best.”
Founded in 1996 just down the road from Pittsburgh, Joe Moore’s hometown, Logistics Plus now has 1,200+ employees in over 50 countries, making it a global force in logistics and transportation.
“Offensive lines know a thing or two about working together as a unit to move objects against their will,” said Aaron Taylor, co-founder of the Joe Moore Award and CBS Sports analyst. “That’s why Logistics Plus is such a natural fit for us.”
The Joe Moore Award has honored elite college football offensive lines since 2015. Past winners include Michigan, Alabama, Notre Dame, and LSU. Army earned the honor in 2024, making history as the first Group of Five school and service academy to receive the award.
In addition to handling logistics, Logistics Plus will incorporate the Joe Moore Award into its marketing and internal communications, reinforcing its identity as a company that moves giants, literally and figuratively.
