Defender Katie Scott, a standout from Erie, is on the move in the National Women’s Soccer League. The Kansas City Current have loaned the 18-year-old to Racing Louisville FC for the rest of the 2025 season.

Scott, who joined Kansas City in January after a year at Penn State, made an immediate impression with her professional debut in the Teal Rising Cup, helping the Current to victories over Palmeiras and Corinthians SC. She has also shined on the international stage, captaining the U.S. U-18 Women's National Team in a 3-1 win over Puerto Rico this summer.

Now with Louisville, Scott will look to gain valuable minutes through the league’s newly implemented intraleague loan system, which allows player movement within the NWSL during the secondary transfer window.
