Pittsfield, PA - The Warren County Fair is marking its 94th year with a new addition to the fairgrounds — a designated Kid's Zone.

Created in partnership with the Warren County Farm Bureau and the Warren County YMCA, the free area features agriculture-based games and information geared toward children.  It is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Fair directors say they are excited to add a little bit more each year and continue making improvements to the fairgrounds, with the Kids Zone being one of this year’s highlights.

"We have always dreamed of making a little Kids Zone for small children here at the Warren County Fair, and now our dream has finally culminated," stated Fair Director Kent Sanden.

Just outside the Kids Zone is an Eagle Scout project completed shortly before the fair by local Boy Scout — now Eagle Scout — Sebastian Lawson. The project, a handcrafted Adirondack chair, now sits prominently in front of the Kids Zone.

"We have had many kids and adults sit and take pictures on the big red chair - and maybe even some vendor committee members too!" stated Laura James, Warren County Fair Director. "It's been a really big hit, and we are so grateful that Sebastian made it for us."

The Kids Zone and Eagle Scout project are available for visitors to enjoy all week during the fair.
