Average Gas Prices Dip in Pennsylvania
Gas prices in Western Pennsylvania are down one cent this week, averaging $3.369 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
Nationally, the average price for regular gasoline fell by two cents to $3.13. Crude oil prices remain in the mid-$60s per barrel, keeping pump prices steady. OPEC+ plans to increase production again next month, adding to several hikes earlier this year.
Gasoline demand dropped from 9.15 million to 9.04 million barrels per day last week, while total domestic supply slipped from 228.4 million barrels to 227.1 million. Production also decreased, averaging 9.8 million barrels per day.
In Erie, the average price is $3.355 per gallon. The highest local price listed in the region is $3.596 in Warren, while the lowest is $3.061 in Brookville.
