The Brewerie at Union Station Keeps Tradition Alive with New Ownership: Giving You The Business
Beer on tap is the finished product — and the heart of what The Brewerie at Union Station is all about.
The former train station, transformed into a restaurant and bar, is now led by new owner Jessica Warren.
“We were actually starting a startup brewerie with my brother-in-law and getting advice from Chris, the previous owner, on and off for probably about two to three years,” said Warren.
Things aligned in March 2025 when previous owner Chris Sirianni sold the business to her. An ode to Sirianni can be found on the back of the “Trailblazer” beer can. He paved the way for Warren, who now marks a first in local history.
“I am the one that is a 100 percent owner, which represents 2 to 3 percent of breweries in the entire United States,” said Warren.
She’s running the business with the help of family. Her brother-in-law, Tate Warren, is head brewer and previously worked at The Brewerie.
“We are bringing back some of the brands I made 10–15 years ago now, so you’ll see our Gore Lord and our Dark Shroud make returns,” said Tate Warren.
Jessica’s son, Dominic, and her mother also work at the brewery — all helping carry on an Erie tradition. The made-to-order food menu has stayed the same with the ownership change, but plans are brewing for expanded use of the space.
The upstairs Trackside Bar remains open — a popular spot on bocce league nights and a unique location next to the Amtrak tracks.
It’s part of The Brewerie’s character, along with its craft sodas, several flavors on tap, and now in-house brewed four-packs for quick purchase to enjoy elsewhere.
Hours remain the same, and the popular Haunted Tour will return in October.
