In early summer, the Community of Caring issued a call to the community for bottled water donations to help support the homeless and those in need during the hot summer days. The response was overwhelmingly generous, with the community donating at least 100 cases of water. These donations have been vital in providing relief during the scorching weather.

Each morning, the organization places a cooler filled with ice-cold bottled water outside their location. This allows individuals walking by or those coming in for breakfast or lunch to grab a bottle and stay hydrated. However, the supply of water has now run out, with just enough remaining to last through the weekend.

The organization is once again reaching out to the community for help. They are asking for donations of bottled water to continue this essential service. Anyone who is able to contribute can drop off a case of water at 245 East 8th Street at any time.
