The Route 27 bridge in Sugar Grove Township, Warren County, is open again after being closed since March for a $1.3 million replacement project, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Friday.

Crews built a new concrete bridge, improved drainage, stabilized slopes, and repaired shoulders. A detour had rerouted traffic using Routes 69, 62 and 6 during construction.

While the bridge is now open, minor landscaping work will continue through October 2025.

The project was funded entirely by state money.
