Recapping Celebrate Erie 2025
Celebrate Erie 2025 brought thousands of people to Downtown Erie last weekend for a successful three day festival.
On Monday, crews were hard at work packing up all of the festival tents, and chairs. They were also working to pack up the massive main stage near 4th and State Street. The weather cooperated for the traditional festival that celebrates all things Erie, from food and family fun to the chalk walk art and especially to the headliners on the main stage.
Mayor Joe Schember is sad that this was his last Celebrate Erie as mayor, but he plans to keep coming.
Gabi Watson, who came into her job just three months before the event was pleased with how everything went.
In the future, she'd love to add some R and B music on the main stage.
