Organizations are partnering to host a blood drive in memory of Thomas "Gonzo" Gonzales.

Gonzales was a member of the Crescent Hose Company for 47 years. He served in many roles, including Captain and Treasurer. 

He died in August 2022.

The drive, held by The Community Blood Bank, is Aug. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Crescent Hose Company (36 East Main St., North East).

Donation appointments are encouraged, the blood bank said. Appointments can be scheduled by phone at 814-456-4206 or online.
