The Hagen History Center is opening four new exhibits.
One, now open, features the Sisters of St. Joseph as they celebrate 165 years of service to the community.
This week, an exhibit about AHN St. Vincent's 150th anniversary will open. The hospital started on Sept. 5, 1875.
An exhibit about Erie's founding families is coming soon. It will explore the influence of the Colt, Sanford, and Spencer families on Erie.
Then, on Oct. 1, an exhibit will open that explores Erie's Polish roots. “The Story of Us, Erie Polonia" was curated by local historian Bobby J. Sulecki. It is on the second floor of the Wood-Morrison House.
It examines the early history of Erie's Polish-American community, known as Polonia.
It runs Oct. 1 through Jan. 30.
