Presque Isle State Park will be hosting two large events this weekend. That will result in operational changes, the park said. 

The final Barber Beast on the Bay begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. It begins at Beach 11 and ends at Waldameer Park and Water World.

The road leaving the park will be down to one lane south to Waldameer's entrance.

The Erie Marathon is scheduled for Sunday.

The park will be closed to traffic until, at the latest, 12 p.m. Sunday. Bicycles will be prohibited. However, the trail will be open to visitors.
