If the weather holds, there will be more time to swim at Presque Isle State Park this year.

Beach 8 will be open and guarded for swimming on weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Sept. 28.

There will be ADA access, too.

The beach will open at noon this Sunday because of the Erie Marathon.
