For more than 105 years, there's been a growing effort to help youth in the region.

It's in the hands of what's called Bethesda Lutheran Services.

The motto is: helping youth, promising futures.

The reach of the services offered was shared Tuesday.

It was through a lunch and learn at Bethesda's West 18th St. facility called The Trinity Center. That is where after-school and summer programs are held, along with other programs for primarily middle schoolers.

It is one of two facilities in Erie County.

There is also a Meadville campus that has 360 acres with all kinds of programming.
