Two Erie Landmarks Lit Up for Suicide Prevention Awareness

Two Erie landmarks are being lit up in purple for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. 

The Perry Square fountain and Bicentennial Tower will be lit up in purple until Sept. 30. 

It is the first time the tower has been lit up in purple.

UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor also has purple light bulbs for people to use outside their homes and workplaces.

They will be distributing those throughout the month.
