The New York State Department of Transportation will be closing the Interstate 86 bridge over Chautauqua Lake at various times for construction.

These are the times:

  • 6 p.m. Sept. 8 to 6 a.m. Sept. 9
  • 9 p.m. Sept. 12 to 9 a.m. Sept. 13
  • 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily Sept. 10 to 12 (eastbound only)

It was to be closed in both directions overnight Friday into Saturday this week as part of an ongoing project.

It was cancelled because of the weather.
