A local pet store is encouraging adoptions as part of our Clear The Shelters initiative.

Companion Animal Coalition was selected to take over NBC's Clear The Shelters social media platforms.

They will be featured at Buzz n B's Aquarium & Pet Shop throughout the day Friday.

Until 6 p.m. Friday, all adoption fees will be waived at the shop. 

They will try to accommodate as many same-day accommodations as possible.
