Warren, PA – Biketober Fest is rolling back into town for its second year, with proceeds supporting local nonprofits across the region.

The event will take place Saturday, September 20th, at Betts Park. Proceeds will benefit local non-profits in Warren, Forest and McKean counties, like the Allegheny Veterans Center in Clarendon, and the Kane Community Center, in addition to local food pantries.

Last year’s event, held at the Kane Family Drive-In, raised more than $7,000.00 for local charities. Organizers are hoping to top that total this year.

Along with the organized bike run, the day will feature food trucks, live music, vendors, fireworks, and family-friendly activities.

“Last year, was our first year to do this event, and I feel that it was very successful," said Tony Smead, Biketober Festival Co- Founder. "We had about 15 hundred people come out and we donated the proceeds back to the community."

Event coordinator Dianna Goodman added, “We wanted to create an event that brings people together, and at the same time helps groups who are really making a difference in Warren, Forest and McKean counties. The whole goal of this event is to take the money we make and put it back into the community.”

Organizers say they’re hoping for an even bigger turnout this year to continue building on what they hope will become a community tradition.
