A new $50 billion program from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services is aiming to strengthen health care across rural America.

Philip Ward spoke with the CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz in a one-on-one interview, where Oz explained that the program has five strategic goals

Make rural America healthy again, sustainable access, workforce development, innovative care and tech innovation.

Tim McGahen, CFO and administrator at LECOM Corry Memorial Hospital and said getting funding from the initiative will only continue to build on progress that has already been made in the area.
