As the holidays gets closer and the season of giving is drawing near, Bob Ferrando Ford World in Girard is doing their part to give back.

Their "Fill a Ford Food Event" is underway.

Ford dealerships all over the country are collecting food donations.

The goal of the location in Girard is to collect 400 pounds of food and officials hope to double that goal.

No matter how many donations they receive, the dealership plans to match that and give all their food to a local organization.


Their food drive continues through September 25th.

Meantime, Erie New Now will be hosting our own food drive on November 19. It's the 25th year of our partnership with the Second Harvest Food Bank.
