Harley-Davidson of Erie: Giving You the Business

Harley-Davidson of Erie began in 1972.
The current owners, Kelly and Susan Lapping bought the business in 2007.
It has grown 40% since then, selling about 400 new and used motorcycles every year.
The prices range from $7,000 to $40,000 for a fully loaded model.
All sorts of people buy them, with a big increase in younger customers in recent year.
Co-owner Kelly Lapping said, "It can be the CEO of a company, the owner of a company. It can be a laborer working for a construction company, just people who want to get out and ride and have that common enthusiasm for freedom of the road."
The dealership moved to the current location, a former grocery store on West 12th Street in 2012. The old location has just 17,000 square feet. The current location has more than 50,000 square feet."
