Massive Heart Attack Blamed for Death of Erie Police Officer

The Erie police officer who died while on duty Saturday evening suffered a massive heart attack, according to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook.
The determination was made after an autopsy Tuesday.
Michael Conway, a 19-year veteran, suddenly fell ill while at Erie Police headquarters. He later died at the hospital.
According to family on Facebook, calling hours for Conway will be Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. and again from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Home on East 38th Street in Erie.
A funeral service is set for Monday morning at the Bayfront Convention Center.
