Erie Pair Accused of Stealing Baby Formula, Trying to Return it at Different Store

Two women from Erie face charges for stealing baby formula and trying to return it to a different store, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The investigation started Wednesday when the Giant Eagle in Girard reported $555.77 worth of baby formula was stolen around 1 p.m., troopers said.
The suspects - only identified as a 22-year-old woman and 21-year-old woman from Erie - were stopped for another theft at a different Giant Eagle in Erie County and tried to return the stolen baby formula at a Walmart store, according to State Police.
Trooper said the case is pending further investigation.
