Erie Sixth Grader Wins State STEM Challenge

Erie sixth grader Charlotte Naser has been named a winner in the Reach Cyber Charter School's statewide annual STEM Challenge.
Student contestants were instructed to create and submit their own Rube Goldberg machines, which are original combinations of simple machines designed to complete simple tasks in a complicated fashion, according to Reach Cyber Charter School officials.
For the STEM Challenge, the criteria for Reach Cyber students varies slightly by grade level.
The annual STEM Challenge builds students' engineering and problem-solving skills.
After reviewing all the submissions, Charlotte was chosen as the winner of the sixth grade class.
