A partnership between LECOM Health and Corry Counseling Services has been approved by Pennsylvania's Office of the Attorney General, according a news release. 

The affiliation went into effect April 1. 

The partnership will allow LECOM Health and Corry Counseling Services, now known as Corry Counseling Services of LECOM Health, to combine resources and increase capacity to deliver behavioral care to residents of northwestern Pennsylvania. 

Corry Counseling Services of LECOM Health is a nonprofit community agency that assists children and adults with mental and development disabilities in Erie, Crawford and Warren counties.

The agency, which has been serving the area for 40 years, provides outpatient mental health services, family based mental health services, medication support, family preservation services, blended case management and two residential community homes for adults with developmental disabilities. 

Corry Counseling Services of LECOM Health will remain at its current location at 45 E. Washington St. in Corry, as well as a satellite office in Union City.
