NWS Confirms EF-0 Tornado Touchdown in Cochranton; Barn Roofs Damaged, Trees Toppled

The National Weather Service confirms an EF-0 tornado touched down in Cochranton Thursday afternoon.
The tornado touched down near State Highway 173 and Fowler Rd. with winds between 65 and 85 mph, according to the NWS. It formed around 12:40 p.m. and had a width of 75 yards and path of .3 miles.
One barn had half of its roof blown off, and the other half appeared to have caved in.
A massive tree nearby was uprooted, causing damage near a home.
Near the street, there were many uprooted or snapped trees.
A semi-truck also toppled over.
