Jack Greer: Vietnam Reflections
Vietnam Reflections continues with the story of the late Jack Greer, he has a memorial post named after him in Crawford County.
Memorial Post 52 on Dunham Road in Meadville is named after Vietnam veteran Jack Greer and when you take a look inside, there are many reminders of sacrifice including a picture of Greer.
He died years after his service time ended from Agent Orange.
"He was honest a very good sense of integrity," said his wife Cheryl Greer.
Cheryl and Jack were married eleven years, Jack died in 1989 at the age of 44.
Cheryl said that she thinks her late husband would be extremely proud to have this post named after him.
She also shared that her husband never got his welcome home, and said that it would mean a great deal to him.
Cheryl has a grandson currently serving in the army and she comes from a military family. She said, like her late husband, they all have a great sense of duty.
