After a month of preparation, a house in Harborcreek is almost ready for Halloween, and they're inviting everyone to come out to celebrate with and be scared by them.

Victoria Kindle and her family have been putting on their haunted display for the past 17 years, and each year it has grown larger and spookier.

What started as a display on their porch has grown into a full haunted garage, which this year is themed Abandoned Mortuary.

In addition to all of the spooky decorations and animatronics, Harborcreek Haunts features 8 cast members hiding inside to scare the pants off of visitors.

But don't worry, if you have little ones who may be easier to scare, they have a secret code word to alert the cast to tone-down the scares.

"This is the holiday that we definitely like to decorate for, we like to spend with the community," said Kindle. "It's free to the public and we do accept donations for Fairfield Fire Hall, and we like to go all out on it."

Harborcreek Haunts will be open for visitors Saturday and Sunday from 6:30-9 p.m., and Monday from 6-9 p.m. at 403 Manistee Ave, Harborcreek Pennsylvania.
