Mercyhurst University has been awarded $20,000 to help fight student hunger and food insecurity. 

The funding from the Hunger-Free Campus grant program will help address a problem that impacts campus life for some students. 

The grants are awarded with the intention of addressing food insecurity on campuses, including expanding access to food options, creating awareness, and upgrading facilities.
