The Reyburn Sailing School at the Erie yacht Club offers summer sailing programs for kids.

Summer sessions last 8 weeks, with kids coming 2-3 days during the week. The school works to keep the classes affordable. Emily Grychowski, assistant director at the school, says the lessons are comparable to paying for daycare, with the lessons lasting all day.

When talking with some of the junior sailors, they shared that their favorite part of sailing is capsizing.

This is the last week of sailing classes, with the year end banquet taking place next week.
