Erie Water Works is temporarily suspending electronic and remote payments starting Oct. 30 due to billing system upgrades.

As a result, it will only be able to accept cash and check payments in its office at 340 W. Bayfront Pkwy. through Nov. 8.

Electronic and remote payment methods will be suspended during that time, too, but customers using autopay will not be affected. Late penalties will not be assessed during this time.

Payments made via mil will not be affected, and customers may continue to mail their payments to the address provided on their bill.
