Racing fans that can't make the trip to Louisville can still have fun on derby day right here at home. Presque Isle Downs is offering racing fans themed events throughout the day:

      • Mystery Pop-Up Giveaway: Players can place a wager on any of the races at Churchill Downs and they could receive a mystery prize from the wagering machine. Prizes include Kentucky Derby hats, T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, and Hot Dogs
      • Derby Hat Contest: Registration starts at 4PM in the lobby of Churchill’s Bourbon & Brew. 1st Place: $500 Free Play; 2nd Place: $250 Free Play; 3rdPlace: $100 Free Play 
      • Derby Dining and Drink Specials:  $5 Mint Juleps and Kentucky Brown Ales
      • Derby Hat Contest:  1st Place: $500 Free Play; 2nd Place: $250 Free Play; 3rdPlace: $100 Free Play. Registration starts at 4PM in the lobby of Churchill’s Bourbon & Brew.
      • Refuge Concert: Free Show starts immediately following the Derby Race around 7PM
