While winners of Sundays event were being selected, Tina Elder the Queen's coordinator talks about the pageant being more than just a title, but about everything the girls accomplish in the months leading up to it.
Tina elders explained "They go to different events they promote the fair they promote agriculture. They educate others about the importance of agriculture. We have 170 fairs here in Pennsylvania."

Although there are numerous benefits for the community, the girls develop knowledge and confidence for their own futures.
Tina elder explains" it gives them self-confidence it allows them to be comfortable In front of people and speaking In front of people."

An Erie County Fair triple crown winner started pageants at age nine and explains her experience as "It's what makes her who she is today."
Morgan Larson says "This is definitely a great opportunity for those girls to get out there and find their confidence and figure out who they are as a person. Just doing this program has given me the courage to be able to do what I'm doing today."
